Hello!

I am looking for skin care advice/ products etc that are appropriate for a young user. My 8 year old has a pimple! Which might not be a big deal but her dad suffered horrible acne as a teenager I so hoped she had inherited my skin. It may all come to nothing but I’d like to be prepared. She’s a clean kid, not particularly sweaty or oily skinned. Any ideas gratefully received.

  • Dermeeze is great

  • Nivea have a young range (I can’t remember exactly what it is I called) or the body shop would have “fun” products that make it seems grown up without making a big deal of it

  • I swear by The Body Shop’s Aloe Gentle facewash/toner/moisturiser. It is 100% organic and preservative free. Rich, yet mild soap-free cleansing foam that gently rinses away make-up, impurities and daily grime, leaving skin clean without the tight feeling that soap often leaves. It contains Community fair Trade aloe vera and is soothing and calming on sensitive skin. I find it lasts a fair while too.

  • I would recommend the nutrimetics Clear range my friends daughter try it and I was amazed then I got it for my daughter not only is it easy to use with the numbers on to show order but it works and not harsh on the skin. Was so happy I joined http://www.nutrimetics.com.au/tracybaker you can order and it will get shipped straight to your address with 5 -7 days

  • Check out Arbonne, my friend Sonia sells it and swears by it, natural products with no petrochemicals.

  • The Simple range is good, but if you have a Lush store near you, their cleansers are great. My daughter has problem skin and after using the Lush cleanser for a week there was a huge improvement ad now after a few months her skin is continuing to improve.

  • Moo Goo is natural & very gentle, or Natio have a “young” range & I find their products quite gentle as well. I would stick clear of anything with chemicals in it, particularly at such a young age.

  • We started on the simple range as it was great for all types of skin then we moved on from there. Good luck
