  • The better quality ones are worth it

  • We use avent and had no dramas

  • I’m not a fan so no idea, hoped she broke that habbit

  • I am a Mum of 5 children. 3 out of my 5 had dummies. I decided that I would let them keep them until the age of 2 yrs.
After that I would only give it to them for bed time. Then I reduced it down to giving it to them every 2nd night, then every 3rd night etc.
They soon got to realise that they weren’t going to get it back …… Although it is NOT an easy thing to get them out of the habit of.

  • i would try the cheap ‘cherry; soothers from chemist warehouse they are about $2 each and work wonders for my little guy

  • Could be because she is teething. Happy Baby makes a teething dummy made to be chewed on that sits on the gums. I bought my sons at baby bunting but you can also buy them online.

  • I always use Nuk dummies, loved them and never had any issues

  • I really like the closer to nature dummies. They fit snuggly and the dummy part goes up towards the roof their mouth, so rarely falls out.
