Hi there, my friends and I (all mums apart from 1) are planning a weekend pamper getaway to revitalise ourselves and have some much needed time out from our every day lives. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where we could stay and be pampered for a lovely weekend away that doesn’t cost the Earth? We have searched a few places but just seeing if there is somewhere out there that I dont know about. Am thinking Brisbane/Gold Coast/Hinterland area. Thanks heaps for any help!

  • What a lovely idea! I’m sure you all had a ball no matter where you ended up going

  • I came here to read the posts. I would suggest somewhere not too far from home.

  • I’m not familiar with the area but suggesting anywhere that has spa / hottub access. It would be cheaper to hire a holiday home rather than hotel rooms depending on how many of you there are. Try wotif and see what is about within your price range

  • I’m not familiar with that area, but I would think a hotel with pool and spa facilities would be good and not too expensive if you’re sharing rooms.

  • There’s a place called Eagle View, just out of Lithgow. The rooms are cute and there’s a spa bath right infront of the verandah where horses and kangaroos pass randomly. I guess it’s kinda a couples retreat but the cabins are good for a group of people. So quiet and serene. Also not too far from the town. I highly recommend this to many people wanting relaxation time.

  • I do this with my friends we go to Rotto its great weekend. I take a treat for them this time it will be shower gel from nutrimetics you can get a box so works out good and they feel special. Cant wait.

  • Don’t know your area unfortunately so can’t help with any recommendations … have you tried Red Balloon or Adrenalin? They sometimes have special offers. Whatever you end up doing, enjoy!

  • Are you looking at a place with day spa options or a health retreat? both offer pampering but for different needs. I use travel sites to find the best places and deals on options and you can refine your search for your needs. Happy hunting!

  • I’m in Victoria so not much help but it sounds like a lovely idea. Friends of ours go every 2 years to a place here that runs weekends away and has massages, crafts etc etc. Hope you find somewhere lovely x

  • that sounds wonderful. I dont know any in those areas sorry! have fun
