Hello!

All of a sudden when he turned one he would eat veggies anymore, before that he wouldn’t eat meat at all (am questioning whether it’s because I didn’t eat any whilst pregnant?) is This something he is going to grow out of? Going to bed without dinner doesn’t worry him, he also can’t be bribed

  • Mines the same. Its a nightmare! I get away with hiding quite a bit in pasta sauce but I’d still like him to just eat a damn bit of carrot. We grow our own and he will “try” those. But its only ever one bit. I think we just have to keep trying.

  • Probably just a fussy state that will pass. He’s only 1 so I would be blending jest and veg together, try and hide the food he dislikes

  • It’s mist likely a phase, kids go through them all the time. Just keep offering different types of healthy food, they’ll eventually eat it

  • You could try hiding veggies or meat in pasta sauce. Another option for protein sources could be eggs and yogurt. If he likes ommletts than you might be able to introduce a few meats/ veggies as fillings. My kids liked grated vegetable fritters – they thought they were lumpy pancakes. Hopefully he’ll grow out of his new habits. In the meantime a quick health check and vitamin supliment won’t hurt.
