Hello!

When my first baby was about 4 mths old, I had 3 different types of rashes (contact, viral and allergic) at the same time. Now after my 2nd bub I have random joint pain – yesterday from my thumbs to my elbows, today my wrists. Has anyone else experienced random/weird/unexplained health issues post pregnancy? Is this a time when the immune system is low?

  • My left leg was a little numb for about one month after giving birth. Fortunately it healed.

  • well i know when i was preggo with my 2nd child, i was sensitive to deoderant! it would itch so bad so i tried researching and used a natural one, still got a little bit whiffy but not itchy.

when you are pregnant, all this hormone is in your body that softens up everything to allow your muscles etc to move to accommodate for baby. it takes a long time (6 mths to a year i think) to get back to normal levels so this might be the case with you. take it easy but seek advice if you are concerned about it.

  • I got personal ones like bleeding when going to the toilet for a number 2 and ripping when having sex but with help from doctors and cream etc I am getting better now :)

  • I consulted my GP due to issues – they can help you and put your mind at ease too. Maybe see your GP?

  • I had health problems after a miscarriage (I got an auto-immune disease). All those hormonal changes really mess up our body. If you are concerned talk with your GP. Maybe he could send you to a rheumatologist .
