  • As long as he is generally eating healthy food, i wouldn’t worry about it. Children tend to be better than adults at determining how much they need – us as adults tend to get in their way and then mess them up!

  • I think it’s totally normal. Sometimes they’re super active and can do with a bit more and like with babies, kids go though growth spurts as well. As long as their weight and height are good and they follow their own curve, you really don’t have to worry.

  • If his height and weight are all good, I wouldn’t be stressing it too much. I’m a bit like this myself, when I’m busy, I tend to not eat much. Then make up for it on another day where I’m a bit more relaxed

  • Pretty normal in my opinion, both my children were like that from 3-5. Very annoying for me but my GP said is was quite normal.

  • I wouldn’t worry, growing as a mini human isn’t a linear thing; there’ll be days where he’s having a growth spurt and days where he’s just being and isn’t needing extra fuel to grow. It also depends on how active he’s been, how much sleep, all kinds of reasons.

  • relax, they are all like that, I have a 4 and 5 yr old who fluctuate each day too

  • No i wouldn’t worry. If you think about it you would do the same thing! I have noticed my boys can all the time for a couple of weeks, and then they will have a growth spurt so I think its normal

  • I wouldn’t worry! Some days I am super hungry and some days I’m not very hungry at all! As long as his height and weight is in the correct place it should be, I wouldn’t worry too much

  • Yep my 19 month old is the same. I don’t stress anymore. I trust she will eat until she’s full. We have different appetites each day so I take it day by day

  • Just eat healthy and have a balanced diet
