Hello!

Was there any specific signs apart from normal pregnancy signs that you were pregnant if you have PCOS? And did you have Implantation bleeding?

  • It’s differs for everyone I guess. Good luck

  • My daughter in law and her sister have PCOS. They’re both pregnant atm and had no abnormal problems

  • My partner suffered from PCOS, but she was okay and healthy and bub too.

  • I have PCOS pretty bad. I have always suffered from extremely heavy periods with extremely painful cramping. However I thought this was normal. The first time I got pregnant and then started bleeding pale pink blood at 10 weeks I ended up in hospital, not only had the baby died but one of my ovaries had a huge 2.5 litre cyst attached to it. That was when I first found out I had PCOS. I had the cyst surgically removed and they could not save the ovary it was attached to. I was told to monitor my PCOS symptoms and I would only have a 50% chance of falling pregnant without IVF.

I got pregnant with my daughter (without IVF mind you, Drs don’t know everything!) and the first sign was at 6 weeks I had morning sickness. After I had my daughter my periods stopped for 18 months. But when they started again they were even heavier than before and a lot more painful, I went back to the Dr who conducted an internal ultrasound and found that I now had lots of small cysts all over my last ovary. I was then given a 30% chance of conceiving without IVF. I was put on the pill to help the symptoms.

My husband and I wanted another baby so we tried. On the day my period was due I got some pale pink bleeding and thought it was my period starting, but it stopped and never returned, I found out I was pregnant. I only took us three months to get pregnant again without IVF. I was told later it was implantation bleeding.

When I had my son via C-section I had been chatting to the surgeons and telling them about my PCOS, they said they would take a look while they were in there and seemed surprised that I had even conceived, they said I would tell you that you probably won’t conceive again, but you have proved us wrong twice. Just make sure you monitor your symptoms. Lol, as I said Dr’s do not know everything. Good luck.
