Don’t know too much about this but are there any STDs that change birthing (eg to protect baby from infection) or which influence pregnancy in other ways?

  • Yes, quite a lot do, and some even force C-sections rather than vaginal births. I would seek proper medical advice if you have an STD.

  • A GP or a Sexual Health Clinic would have the best answers. If you are worried, I would suggest a discussion with them.

  • I know there are ones that can infect the baby during birth, I’m not sure which ones are which though
