With all this corona panic going on, I’m keen to find out whether you are still travelling domestically? I’m keen on getting away but also am nervous about going on holiday. If you’re still going on holiday, are you driving or flying?

  • Start looking at holidays for next year that way you can look forward to some thing during this crazy time.

  • Looks like the decision has been taken out of your hands as there is now no non essential travel between states

  • It is not advisable to travel at all at the moment, by any means. Stay home and relax and book something later in the year or early next year ….

  • Please stay home :)

  • Not this holidays but hoping for a mid year getaway. This holidays will be all about having fun at home.

  • #stayathome

  • I don’t think its worth it. To stop Rona we really need to be staying in our own areas and doing what the local government is instructing.

  • We were booked to go overseas next month [April] for my wife’s 50th birthday. When this started we were advised by the travel agent NOT to cancel as we would loose the lot.If we wanted to change to a better time there was a surcharge to pay.BUT if we waited to see what the airline did and go from there. The airline suspended/cancelled the flight so now we have $1800 credit and we only make up the difference in new cost as we want cfristmas and that is peak time.So we sit tight as cannot leave our state [NSW] and rest of the country is lock downed. So if you want to travel just be very patient and pick your place/time

  • No travelling for us this holidays, not even to my in-laws beach house. The only thing we’ll be doing is going on family drives occasionally (no getting out of the car). Everything else is done at home. Only us adults will venture out for the essentials when needed. This is what everybody should be doing to stop spreading the virus.

  • All non-essential travel has now been cancelled which means I now won’t be able to see my teenage daughter, and my son won’t be able to visit his grandmother. We had also planned to stay with family for a few days. Now my son and I will just be staying at home I guess. I plan to read a lot, cook and declutter the house. We’re hoping to put on netflix or stan too. Devastated about not seeing my daughter, who lives with her Dad.

  • No all holidays are cancelled. Isolating and just being with my family

  • Until yesterday I was still planning on getting away locally for a few days during the school holidays, however in the last 24 hours I have totally reconsidered and decided to stay home and safe.

  • We were meant to be going on a small road trip for a few nights away but we cancelled it to stay on the safe side and at this stage it’s lucky we did because it looks like the borders will be shut and we woukd be able to get home.

  • And that would probably be the best thing to do.

  • We’ve already gone away to get away to get away from the craziness. We drove to the beach and we are fortunate that we have a house to stay in. I would not suggest flying, in fact I believe there will be a crackdown on non essential flying. Stay safe!
