Hello!

With all this corona panic going on, I’m keen to find out whether you are still travelling domestically? I’m keen on getting away but also am nervous about going on holiday. If you’re still going on holiday, are you driving or flying?

  • All those people that got locked out of their State and couldnt get home. Glad I didnt face that

  • We travelled within qld once it opened up. It allowed us to visit places we may not have thought of before. We missed out on a huge trip to the UK to see my family, so anything little mini vacation (covid safe obviously) we could get in we did

  • Not travelling a time the moment. I can rarely afford a holiday so I don’t want to waste my chance at the moment while some things are still closed and there are still restrictions.

  • I think alot of people are considering more local holidays around NSW e.g. blue mountains, south coast and central coast. Those places would really appreciate the tourism post-bushfires. They’re feeling a bit forgotten.

  • I don’t think we will go holiday in near future.

  • We’ve booked our usual beginning of the year getaway. Its in our home state and within two hours drive. We dont travel interstate normally (cant afford to do so) so there has been no change for us. The only difference is we have booked a lot earlier than we usually do. We figured that everyone would be booking locally and didn’t want to miss out. So now, the countdown has begun, six and a half months to go….

  • I’m hoping we can still make a family beach trip at the end of the year!

  • No I’ll be staying put for a while, not risking it with two young kids

  • There’s no way we’re travelling domestically until there’s a vaccine and if that takes another 12 months or longer then so be it. There are plenty of other ways we can amuse ourselves without putting our health at risk. We’re not spring chickens and hubby has a medical condition.

  • No way not going anywhere until this is much better – not worth it

  • No way I’m staying home and hopefully they can contain this nasty virus

  • I’ve just cancelled my overseas trip. I was supposed to be going away for a week with a friend in June. I won’t even travel within Australia either.

  • Not a chance – apart from te regulations, I just wouldn’t feel comfortable away from home.

  • Start looking at holidays for next year that way you can look forward to some thing during this crazy time.

  • Looks like the decision has been taken out of your hands as there is now no non essential travel between states
