  • We used plastic but if I was to doit again I’d use glass if it was cor me feeding the baby. When they feed themselves I’d go plastic.

  • I always used glass bottles when I had to. So thankful that nothing I used ended up a problem like plastic does.

  • We’ve used plastic for all 3 kids. Im toi worried about broken glass!

  • Plastic all the way for us. We found it really easy to sterilise and had zero risk of shattering. I would be concerned about breaking glass bottles as I was such a sleepy exhausted new mum.

  • Glass all the way. So much cleaner, smell free and can last years unless broken. All you need to do is change the teats so it is a great investment

  • I’d pick plastic. I’d worry about glass shattering. I’m not the most delicate of people

  • I didn’t know u can buy glass bottles. I would say plastic as they are not so breakable…especially when u r tired….

  • We used plastic bottles and they worked for us.

  • Personal choice. When they’re really little you do all the holding of the bottle once they hold them themselves you need to reevaluate again.

  • We used both Glass when I was feeding baby then when baby was bigger and holding their own bottle I grabbed some plastic bottles. They tend to throw them when finished and can break if glass. I never put the plastic battles in the microwave to heat the milk. I made up the milk in a glass vessel and poured warmed milk in the plastic bottles.

  • Honestly just plastic. It’s just easier and I’m not stressing and worrying about it shattering or breaking near bubs because babies can be hard to juggle and I’ve dropped the bottle many times!!
They don’t drink from the bottle for long during their life anyway.

  • I’ve recently switched to glass! I After 2 babies whos plastic bottles wore very easily after a few months but the glass bottles last 10 times as long!

  • I think that there are some recent concerns with microplastics entering your baby’s system.from plastic bottles. But I would be more concerned about glass entering my foot after a broken glass bottle.

But in all seriousness, we are 2 dads and we go through a lot of bottles. We use plastic, it is easy to clean, won’t break so you can just chuck it in the bag and trust me, bottles get dropped. Also, while less conductive than glass, I imagine the thin plastic would heat and cool quicker which is handy when you need to get that bottle fast!

  • I was happy with plastic.
