He does not like the taste. He can learn to experience different tastes and textures and some he will like others he wont. Never try to ouch a child to eat or drink something they dislike, however do reintroduce after a time. Also in the presence of other children, he may be more inclined to try what others are having. It is okay not to like something. Many adults are very fussy about likes and dislikes. If a child is offered a variety of healthy foods and drinks to chose from , they will thrive.
