Hello!

I would love some ideas of different types of games other people use for their children in the bath to keep them entertained (while watching them of course).

  • Bubbles. Glow sticks and make it dark. Kids love it

  • Kmart & Big W have lovely bath toys. I also have a tub with rubber letters and numbers. They stick on the tiles. We make small words and put the numbers in order

  • We did bath crayons as well in the past, but I chucked them out when my kids were colouring the grout and i couldn’t get it clean.
For my youngest I have now floating bath blocks, they’re great !

  • Depending on how old, practise blowing bubbles. You can buy crayons that can be used in the shower/bath and they just wash off! A few small buckets or plastic containers for filling and tipping over themselves and head.

  • Bath time crayons to draw on the wall. Or foam letters to write with.

  • i usually have bubbles and ships or boats and make stories with it

  • Lots of different containers. We just bought one from Ikea and it is a bought which pulls apart into a number of containers that all do different things and have different spouts/holes for different splashes and tipping.

  • you can use flour or cornflour, a little dishwashing liquid or water and food colouring, mix up and you have paints. you can google exact measurements or just wing it which is fine :). lol muffin or cupcake tins are great to mix it up in :)

people have also used yoghurt or baby powder instead of flour.

    this won’t stain your bath

  • Might have to get some dinosaurs for them to play with

  • My daughter had a toy watering can that she would fill with bath water and then pour it over her head – she loved it.

  • I find most kids enjoy filling things with water, emptying it into another container etc. It’s really easy to keep most kids happy and entertained in the bath, bubbles and cups basically

  • Bath paint sounds interesting, how exactly do you make that?

  • bath paint or just variety of containers and shampoo bottles

  • When my daughter was small I had a lot of plastic books to read while taking a bath.
