Hello!

I have been thinking of purchasing some of the Tupperware Ventsmart containers but they are so expensive. Do they work or is there something better that is cheaper?

  • If they work and last a long time then they may be worth the investment.

  • They are expensive, but they work and last for ages.

  • i just store my veggies in the trays at the bottom of my fridge. i have never had the need for any extra storage

  • I sometimes use old colanders because they still allow for air circulation.

  • Normal containers in the supermarket work very well and don’t cost a fortune!

  • Containers are found in all supermarkets, Kmarts, Big W , Howards storage everywhere now. A lot of people sell Tupperware on ebay too if cost is a concern but make sure it is genuine . I have a few décor and the fridge crisper always keeps my perishables fresh . I don’t stock too much at once as don’t want wastage and I am fussy with buying everything fresh .

  • Cool! Very interesting reading the comments on this!

  • Lock’n’locks are the best containers to store anything. They clip down on all four sides and keep food fresh for ages.

  • I would try the decor ones first they are a cheaper option.

  • me too.. i use tupperware for everything… i even have a specific turning stand to store and arrange all my tupperwares… lol

  • Love Tupperware. Have been using Tupperware since I was 18 I am now 57. It might cost a bit more but has a lifetime guarantee and I am proof that they honour this warranty. I have bought things at the age of 18 and they are still replacing lids etc. If something is not made anymore they will replace it with the latest product. All this free of charge. So many times I have had things replaced that are split even containers that are over 30 years old.

  • Tupperwear is good but at the same time there are a lot of very good products out there also.
I think its just a matter of shopping around for what you want.
Tupperwear is good value if you can hold a party and get a good discount on your purchase.

  • I tried the cheaper versions. .. not worth it- but the tupperware ones! They are definitely worth the money… they’ll pay for themselves in time as you won’t be throwing out yucky vegetables!

  • Tupperware is good, but faaar too expensive. Try Decor.

  • there are some good comments here
