  • there are so many great games that are educational, but I love good old hungry hippo and dominos

  • Puzzles will keep them busy for hours as for the 3 year old maybe building blocks

  • We have a cupboard full of games we used to play with our kids. We spent many hours playing games with our kids, from toddlers to teenagers. Great fun

  • Orchard Toys games are good (you can get them in specialist game shops, toy shops or online- I got some on ebay). Of those my kids loved Tummy Ache, Cake Monster and the Rocket Game.

  • Snap, Memory and Chinese Checkers would all be good for those ages :)

  • From my experience, three year olds love role play. Pretend doctors, posties, shopkeepers, police and robbers, pretending to ring the police on the phone, firemen ..pretending something is on fire and hide and seek! And they love chasing bubbles, sand play and water play. It can be exhausting for the carer/parent/grandparent, but kids love it! Seven year olds love outdoor activities, such as kicking a ball, flying a kite. Inside, they love board games and remote control toys. Hope u have lots of fun! Childhood goes so quickly

  • Card games like memory and go fish; UNO for the seven year old; and snakes and ladders.

  • Snakes and ladders

  • My kids love guess who, uno, snakes and ladders, hungry hippos… these are ones they can play together. The older kids games my Miss 8 likes to play with me are Game of Life Jr and Monopoly Jr

  • Do you know “Tumblin’ Monkeys”? I find it very nice too!!

  • One we love even if it’s too difficult for the 3 years old is “Phase 10″. It would be good for the 7 years old one. “Uno” too.

  • Snakes and ladders. I have a 4 and 6 year old and they love to play snakes and ladders plus it teaches them to count. Memory is also a good game.
