  • I love a greek salad, hubby loves anything creamy and we both enjoy a pear and mixed leaf salad at the moment.

  • Oh and I find that with kids especially ( and some adults) if you add some fruit in a garden type salad ie pear/apple/mango etc it usually goes down better.

  • Not the healthiest but my family all love potato salad with egg and bacon… Also chicken caesar salad. Again not the healthiest but if you dont add much dressing and use grilled chicken its not too bad. Salad is a tough one in my house. My girls love it, ( except a few things) my son not so much he prefers cooked vegetables…

  • Greek! Olives, cucumber, tomato and feta, it can’t be simpler but you can complicate it with oregano, fancy olive oil and balsamic if you really want to

  • Greek salad is always a crowd pleaser!

  • Wombok salad is delicious. Cut up wombok cabbage, use dry noodles, sugar, vinegar, and sliced almonds. Soo tasty.

  • Tomato based pasta salad :)

  • Our recent one is a nice Cous cous or quinoa salad.

Roast up some sweet potato or pumpkin and toss with some salad leave, cous cous, tomato and feta. Drizzle a little garlic infused olive oil and done

  • Watermelon and white finely sliced onion with chopped mint is nice and usually a hit.

  • Changs Crunchy Noodles. I know people say they don’t love it and it is a bit kitsch and a bit 90s. But trust me, they do. They love it. It is quick, easy, crunchy, sweet, salty. The best.

  • A basic green salad is always good too and it can be dressed up with yummy greens in season.

  • Mediterranean salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, fetta, olives … lots of flavours.

  • Watermelon and Beetroot salad is a refreshing salad on a hot day. Cube the watermelon, Cube cooked beetroot, slice cherry tomatoes, shredded mint leaves, walnut pieces or pine nuts to decorate.

  • A simple pear with mixed leaf salad is quick and easy

  • I would have to say the beetroot salad too! I’ve had it many times at different places and it’s always a favourite for everyone there
