Hello!

I have 3 daughters and my youngest is turning 3 in a few weeks. I am puzzled what to buy her as we already have so much stuff and seems silly to double up on things we already have… Any ideas mums?

  • It might sound silly on doubling up on toys, but even if your other kids have them, it is still your other kids toys.

  • Sometimes I just do one bigger present. Like a trampoline, a cubby house, a swing set, a water slide jump castle, or a special day out what is normally to expensive

  • I would choose books with pictures. Although they normally can’t read at all that young some will actually tell you a story about the pictures (one of mine did. Some of them were really amusing)
Maybe a book that you paint the page with water and you get a coloured picture. There are some labelled “Paint with Water”. I have bought 4 or 5 different ones. The last lot I got from the Reject Shop. My siblings and I had them as kids, I don’t know where my Mum bought them but it definitely wasn’t the Reject Shop as there was nothing like that in the area we lived in and she didn’t do on-line shopping.

  • Balance bike, puzzles, books

  • I have the same problem but three boys. For our youngest we got him a new sheet set, quilt cover and wall stickers. Playdough and mega sketch were the toy presents.

  • I wrap old presents that haven’t been played with for awhile and bank the money for my child that I would of spent

  • Dr Seuss books!!

  • a movie
    book
    clothes
    diy jewellery

take her somewhere- shopping, beach, park, zoo

  • How about an afternoon picnic at the park with some friends and/or family?

  • Why not a gift card. They love that they can go to shop and get to choice something special. They feel important going upto the checkout with purchase and handing over the gift card. It makes them feel grown up.

  • Toys, toys and more toys!!!

  • puzzles are always good cooking sets art and craft stuff make your ouwn handbag and pruse craft things are always good for young kids

  • How about a special outing and a special cake. Kids aren’t greedy for things at that age.

  • an experience instead of a new toy would be better. You can never have to many experiences

  • Clothes and some toys that she loves or even a trip to a zoo or something
