  • Cold water is your friend. Do not wash or soak in hot water as it will make the blood set. If you notice straight away rinsing under cold water can remove it. If you don’t get onto it straight away, try using a laundry soak powder for a few hours, rinse area to check. If stains gone, wash as usual, if not, soak again. Good luck.

  • Long cold water soak as soon as possible then a regular wash. Might also try the various sprays for stain removal after have done the basic soaking (although many of these require a dry fabric so watch out)

  • I use KOH multi purpose cleaning liquid on washing now too it’s a gods end best product ever does the whole house

  • soak in cold water with your favourite stain remover powder and pop in the wash. I use Napisan or Sard . Always cold water though, hot water will set the stain

  • Soak in napisan and then use the napisan spray and then put in the wash. This should rid of the stain very well. Not a mark!

  • Spray quite a bit of hair spray onto the stain let it set in properly for a few hours than was my mums old trick lol even gets ink out

  • Definitely put in cold water as soon as possible and let soak. You can then give it a gentle rub (depending on the fabric). I have also found Sard wondersoap bar is quite effective on blood stains. Do not put it in warm or hot water.

  • COLD WATER!!!! Do not put in warm or hot water as that will ‘set’ the stain. Soak in cold water for long as you can and once all the blood is gone, wash as normal.

  • The Aldi brand stain remover spray is fantastic for this. I squirt the spray a few times on the stain and then add it to the wash or a stain soak then wash and it seems to work well.

  • Clothes may need a few soaks and treatments too.

  • A comprehensive soak in a quality stain remover should remove stains.

  • I use warm water and make the napisan or sard powder soaker into a paste. I rub it into the stain then rinse with warm water before washing as normal in cold water. A close friend of mine gets different types of stains out of clothes using the same method

  • The best stain treatment is quick treatment, the longer a stain sits, the harder it is to remove. I swear by napisan. I have the spray as well as the soak. I spray and wash and if that doesn’t work, I soak. Sometimes stubborn stains take more then one soak, but napisan generally gets them all out
