Hello!

I’m finding it extremely difficult and painful to remove Mascara. I use a Dr Le Winn’s eye make-up remover that, even after numerous wipes, still leaves the mascara on my lashes for days. Excessive wiping also leaves my eyes red and sore. I use the Colossal Mascara which may be the problem. It goes on so well, it’s hard to take off.

  • I don’t know about your eyes, but mine is very sensitive to harsh products. Having said that , I have used Select Unscented wipes ( Woolies brand ) for a while now and it is great in removing heavy makeup and best of all it is gentle for my eyes . It doesn’t irritate or sting like some brands do . Also I have used Garnier gentle makeup remover and it is really good in removing makeup without the harshness as well .

  • yeah i use maybelline or rimmel and never have issues. maybe a little residue after a shower but the towel takes it off

  • Mary Kay. It is a two part eye make up remover that you have to shake to blend, but it’s amazing. When I was overseas I got stuck for options and actually used baby oil with a make up remover pad, and it is absolutely amazing, no dragging on the eye etc. If using baby oil you just need to make sure you thoroughly rinse afterwards.

  • I use Lancome and it just washes off with warm water,it’s a great mascara.

  • Maybe change brands? Removing mascara should not cause you discomfort. :(
