Hello!

My Dyson isn’t as good as it used to be. Has anyone brought something really good lately? I’m thinking Dyson again though..any suggestions?

  • Have you looked at why your Dyson isn’t performing so good? Maybe just need a filter clean or a new head. Definitely stick with Dyson, they are expensive but they’re the best

  • It was really interesting to read these responses…people clearly love their Dysoans. A pity they are so expensive!

  • I have a good old Kambrook ball style no bag vacuum cleaner. It has the best suction power.

  • My Nilfisk is 15yo and has been an absolute gem!

  • i recently brought an Electrolux one and it works great for me!

  • Try getting your Dyson serviced. I’ve heard the newer Dysons aren’t anywhere near as good as the originals.

  • We have the Dyson DC25. Its absolutely fantastic…. Carpets look a lot cleaner afterwards and we have a gold labrador, so she sheds a lot of fur and you can see as soon as you turn the Dyson on, one push across the floor and the chamber starts whirling with hair. Its great, really gets it all up.

  • I still love my old Dyson and when it ties will replace with the same brand.

  • We can’t live without our Shark vacuum cleaner. It’s great.

  • I cannot live without my ducted vaccum system..

  • I have had 2 Dyson Vacuum Cleaners as well as many other brands and definitely find the Dyson to be the pick of the bunch. Have you tried the Turbo Head? This lifts the performance to a whole other level!

  • If you want to spend alot then get a Kirby. It will never let you down!

  • cleaned the filter, didn’t get any dirt out of it? has anyone had there’s serviced? it works ok, just feel its 10 yrs old and maybe time to upgrade? anyone got the roller ball wheels?

  • I’ve got a Dyson DC33 currently in for repairs under extended warranty. Normally fantastic machine, and cleaning the filters certainly helps restore their suction. Have bought a cheap Powerplus Pet 3 Vax, 3 yr warranty, to use in the meantime, then will use it for cleaning the car. Very happy with it, but still prefer the upright Dyson.

  • Our bag less Hoover is pretty good.
