Hello!

I’m soon approaching 30 years old and I think I’m still young and hip but is there a time to change and if so when?

  • You do you! Honestly wear whatever you are comfortable in. Age is just a number.

  • I would probably ask the people closest to me, like my husband or close friends if they think I dress appropriately. I would trust their opinions.

  • Dress as you like, we all have our own style. Last week my 16yr old was mentioning I was wearing clothes she could wear too, I’m 57yrs old ;)

  • I’m in my 30’s and don’t dress like a g’ma but not into short skirts either! So i would t dress like an 18yr old.

  • Shopping centres usually have stylists that can help you find a style that suits you.

  • Personally I prefer when people dress and act their age. I have a neighbour in her mid-40’s who drinks and behaves like a teenager (in front of her teenage children) and it’s not appealing.

  • Dress by what you are comfortable.
But if you are referring to clothes that maybe are a bit on the skimpy side, I would say, no one likes mutton dressed as lamb

  • I think you should dress how you feel comfortable.
Some women are comfortable in a suit, some in tracksuit pants!
    It’s all about the individual.

  • I still fit in my clothes from when I was a teenager, and I’m 39. Recently, I was given a bag of clothes from a lady who was nearly 90, and my 14 year old daughter has claimed them. She did give me one shirt and one pair of pants that were too small for her, but the rest are hers for keeps. I think you need to wear what you are comfortable with and that suits your lifestyle, not some notion on age or what others think.

  • Wear what you like we no longer have to wear old frumpy clothes just because of certain age I would never do that. Be happy in what you are wearing

  • Everyone at every age dresses differently; so very hard to say; wear what makes you feel comfortable.

  • When you no longer feel comfortable!

  • It all depends on what you mean by dress like an 18yr old. If you mean a slutty teen girl who needs to grow up then you should know better but if you mean latest styles and fashions to compliment your body shape then go for it you dont have to dress like an old lady

  • I think you need to dress appropriately and comfortably as to what suits you. Yes you can still dress young if you are young at heart but maybe make sure it is conservative to show a good image to your children that you respect yourself.

  • I think it’s up to you! Most people find their fashion changes in their 30s due to bodily changes (post baby) or lifestyle changes (little kids, not so much midnight partying) but it’s really up to you. What suits you, what do you feel comfortable in? While you don’t want to look dopey, you don’t want to age yourself either.
