I’m looking for some weight loss recipes that I can cook for our family meal. What are some of your favourite recipes that the whole family love?

  • Minestrone soup is healthy and filling and easy to make. It goes down really well in winter.


  • We have recently started eating a larger meal at lunch and a smaller meal or salad at dinner. It’s made a difference because you get more time to work off the larger meal.


  • I enjoy having soups but some do seem watery and not filling. I put lentils and barley to thicken it up which makes it more filling. And packing it with veg too. I like my soup quiet thick which then means my 2.5 year old daughter can enjoy it too without making a complete mess!


  • Also; I have found a wealth of cookbooks that offer healthy meals which offer a diverse range of healthy foods. Might be worth looking? I prefer the ones that use only a few ingredients which is better for the budget and easier to resource too.


  • I do not have specific weight loss meals but I do provide a good selection of vegetables with every meal. Filling up on vegetables is a good way to go for nutrition and health.
