I think you will just know which is best when you visit each of the centres.

I have had my boys in both and I found the centre good but the family care a lot more relaxed and happier. I would much rather be picking up happy boys and not feel so rushed and like a number.

We chose childcare. There are pros and cons of each. Make a list of what those are for your family and go from there.

You will have made your choice by now. The best way is to visit the day care centres and day care mum/s to see what they can offer your child, how well the children interact with staff etc. Some mums don’t get a choice as there could be limited places available. Also, ask other mums you know for feedback/recommendations.

For me I would prefer the family day care.

My son went to chidcare since he was 3 months and he loves it. They have lots of fun there.
