  • Yes I cut my kids hair, my husband and myself :)

  • I’ve always cut my daughter’s hair and it turns out quite well.

  • I get my kid’s hair done properly once every six months, then tend to “trim” in between otherwise it adds up to be quite expensive.

  • My husband cuts my sons hair with the hair trimmers, he does a great job!

  • No way! I would totally screw it up. We go to a great place for my 2 yo that had cars and planes for them to sit in and a TV screen each will hundreds of shows to choose from. Works for us and my busy (never sit still) toddler.

  • I have always cut my husbands hair-over 30 yrs- & have cut my kids hair when they were little but take them to a hairdresser to get the right shape cut when it needs. I still trim the overall length when needed.

  • I find cutting girls hair harder than boys. I cut my husbands hair so we don’t have to pay any barber fees!

  • If you are just doing a trim with proper hairdresser scrissors you can save so much money!

  • I trim myself yes.
Attempted a fringe. 1st time good. Next child was taken to the hairdresser for fixing lol

  • I tried to take mine to a hair dresser but I guess that trust wasn’t there and the lady cut her hand and bled everywhere. She looked so mad at him that we never went back and he was so scared of her I said he never had to. I’m almost afraid to take them again even to a new one.

I’ve done quite some cutting in my life and when I was still single also my friends and the kids of my friends. I always say practice makes perfect and that certainly goes up in regards to cutting hair.

  • Finding the right hairdresser for your child is important as your child needs to trust the hairdresser when they are using scissors to cut hair.

  • I’ve done a bit of a trim on my toddler. But nothing beats a professional cut!

  • When they are little, a haircut at home is fine, easy too. School age, a visit to the hairdresser, they like it too.

  • I tend to take my kids to the barber or express cuts. They’re more likely to sit still and it gets cut properly. It also minimises the mess at home.
