I have a few nice photo frames with velvet/velour type backs and find it impossible to keep them clean, does anyone have any easy way to get rid of what seems like stuck on dust?

  • I use a lint roller. It takes time but works.

  • I would probably try a lint roller and see if that works.

  • I use a cloth that is not wet just a little water and it works!

  • I have a velvet clothes brush and it works a treat

  • Have you tried a damp cloth, rough like a face washer? Rub over back of frames til dust comes off

  • I use a lint brush or the vacuum cleaner.

  • Try to use a vaccum!

  • Wipe carefully with a slightly damp cloth.

  • A sticky lint cleaner does it for me, those velvet backings are really a nuisance. I had a rather large photo frame that seemed to attract too much dust so I just covered over it in another material.

  • I give mine a good vacuum and that seems to work

  • use sticky tape wrapped sticky side up around your fingers

  • there are some good comments here

  • yea i use baby wipes too

  • use baby wipes i use them for everything :)

  • Some good advice there below.
