Hello!

I have a three year old daughter who has been complaining about a stomach ache. It began 4 weeks ago with a very high temp that we could not get down regardless of the two doses of Panadol. We took her to hospital and after testing the outcome was a possible stomach infection and we were sent home. Ever since she hasn’t had a temperature but has had a stomach ache. She complains her tummy is saw and then runs to the toilet, her stools are quite cloudy and not normal. We have been to two other doctors ever since and the outcome nothing. I am suspicious that she may be intolerant to something but I can’t pin point anything. Some advice on intolerances and experiences would be fantastic.

  • Ask your doctor about food intolerance testing.

  • You’ll have to keep a food diary of everything she eats & start eliminating foods to see if it makes a difference. I’m wondering if the cloudiness is caused by mucous from the bowel. Might be worth googling it (but not too much!) That’s disappointing the Drs haven’t taken her health problem seriously.

  • Hope you manage to get it sorted out, poor little darling, it’s not good to be in pain.
