  • Maybe it’s simply because your daughter only wants 30 from her side. You can say something if you like, but the answer may not be what you like

  • How doesn’t your daughter feel?

  • Yeah u are thinking write no one has no right to put their burden on others shoulders

  • I probably wouldn’t say anything because they are paying for it. At the end of the day, if the bride and groom are happy about who has been invited and how many then all is good. Not worth risking an argument under these circumstances.

  • Whoever’s paying for it gets the final say I suppose.

  • Unfortunately they are paying for it so I dont think there is anything you can say to them. You could just ask your daughter the reasoning behind it and see what she says?

  • If it really is bothering you maybe just have a chat with your daughter and ask her, then perhaps you’ll get your answer. It’s really not good to bottle things up inside.

  • Maybe they only want 30 from your side of the family, have you considered that? It’s a possibility

  • It is tricky, but if they are paying for it and have put the list together and are happy with it, there may be little you can do.

  • Ummm.. well.. I guess your daughter and her future husband have chosen the guest list together. In that case I wouldn’t say anything.
