  • I didn’t keep any of my son’s baby clothes. I gave them all away to people for free. Nowhere to store unused items.

  • I passed everything on to my brother and his wife for their first child.

  • I kept half a dozen special outfits, and passed the rest on to friends.

  • I gave loads away to charity, kept a part for the dolls and bears and used the favourite pieces to make a tapestry :)

  • I gave away a lot of stuff. Some stuff I kept. I’ve not long had my first grandchild and it was lovely to hand over his dad’s baby stuff for him to use

  • I gave quite a lot away to family members who were pregnant, and regretted it as I watched my treasured possessions destroyed. I kept all the soecial things

  • I kept a tubs worth that i loved. My daughter likes using them to dress her dolls. Mine are 3 and 7 now. I have a plastic bag on the back of each door as all the small ones go straight there. I drop them to my mother in law who pulls out for relatives kids. Then she repacks and drops to St Vinnies or Salvos. That is how i cull the toys too.

  • I did both. My firstborn I kept most of her baby clothes as they were mostly great condition and she grew out of them rather than worn out. I used them with my twins. But as they are getting older I’ve passed on a lot of their baby clothes. Especially sizes 0000-0. They grow so quick this age and it’s a shame to not pass on clothing in good condition. I also had people donate clothes to me for the twins so I wanted to donate back to others as much as I could. I kept special outfits that had personal meaning, threw out damaged or ruined clothes but mostly donated especially the smaller sizes.

  • I have sold a few bits and pieces for cheap online, but i went a bit baby crazy (first baby) so still have tons of clothes in my sons wardrobe who is almost 2! I am going to give majority of it to friends/family members who are expecting then give the rest to charity and just keep a few little outfits to show my son when his older! (I dont plan on having anymore kids so i guess if i was planning on having more kids i would be keeping majority of it!)

  • I don’t keep baby clothes, because I think it is more rewarding giving it to others who need them . I volunteer at a charity shop and good clean clothing is always appreciated especially when it is needed the most . Also passing down to family and friends is a great idea especially if they need them .

  • I have saved most mine especially those that I love. I have passed on those super trendy pieces, and any that are stained or worn. I have donated, sold, given to friends or used for rags, depending on what the item was. Once I am sure that our family is finished I will pass on.

  • I saved the nice pieces and threw away or donated the rest. I also made sure I kept the sleeping bags etc as they are expensive and no one sees your baby when they are asleep in their room, so doesn’t matter if it’s a boy colour i
    On a girl etc,.

  • I gave away my first child’s, which I regret, I could have saved so much money with my 2nd.. I am not planning to have anymore kids thanks to Hyperemesis Gravidarum though so I’m probably going to get rid of those ones as well :(

  • I kept just some that I really loved. They are all in a box. I gave the rest to a charity shop.

  • If you plan on more keep them it will save you$1000’s over the years.. Once you are finished like were are after 3 kids.. Im happy to pass them on to friends.. Then for them to be passed on again or donated.
