  • We don’t do Halloween. But the kids school does a spooky disco every second year so I’ll make the costume or buy little things

  • We try to make our own from things around the house. Our rule is that we don’t pay more than $20 for materials. Pinterest have some really good ideas on DIY costumes.

  • Have made costumes the last couple of years also bought 1 wonderwoman costume.
I have made an elsa, no face, death and just finished this week a hermione granger.
I find its not difficult and you dont have to have it perfect, i just google to find the simple design and then spotlight is my bestie for materials and ebay for cheapo accessories

  • I have started to make costumes, depending on what your’re after, there is usually a good DIY tutorial online. Some of them are super cute and easy, but can take a bit of time depending on what is involved.

  • Does anyone know of any places for patterns for Halloween costumes?

  • I have a collection of bought costumes, but would also like to try my hand at making one for this year. Halloween is always a bit of good fun.

  • I never bothered with Halloween costumes. It wasn’t a thing when my kids were younger. I’m still not into it
