woolworths salads mom answers 6

If you’ve made a salad that includes pasta, do you serve another carb with the meal? Or is the salad plus some meat enough for your family?

  • I would add another carb, Not only is it good for you but it also fills you up..

  • If I have Woolworths creamy pasta salad I would have this a serving spoon size with a small can of Tuna my dinner or lunch is done .. as hubby being a shift worker I try and keep it very simple .
But one of my favourite foods is creamy pasta salad .. omg yum

  • I personally wouldn’t add any more carbs but you could add some more protein and healthy fats depending on the salad. For healthy fats: avocados, feta or nuts and seeds. For protein: eggs or tofu.

  • It depends on how much there is I suppose that is d the salad and then the meat also generally i would say do what feels right

  • I personally wouldn’t add another carb.

  • I would normally have a green salad too

  • Personally I would serve pasta as the carb indeed and wouldn’t add another carb. Pasta salad and some meat or a meat substitute sounds enough, you could add some more veggies or some pine nuts to the salad.

  • it is probably enough to serve just one. adding extra veg is always a good thing

  • I would have it with some meat and make a meal of it

  • No I count pasta as the carb and don’t serve anything else as its too filling for us

  • Depends on how much meat there is. On the odd occasion I’ll add chips or else have sliced bread on the table if anyone wants it.

  • Never too many carbs. Maybe have it in a seperate bowl so people can choose

  • It depends on the situation and who eats. Sometimes i will serve it with garlic bread when kids around.

  • I usually don’t serve a second carb. It’ll be Salad + a veggie dish and plus some kind of protein or legume (i.e. beans, chickpeas, lentils etc)

  • I would probably serve something else. Steamed veg. Perhaps not another carb – not that I mind carbs!!
