Do you attend church services on Christmas Day? Is it the only time you go to church?

  • No we don’t. We only go for weddings really

  • I didn’t post this question, but definitely enjoyed reading the responses.

  • Yes we go to church on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday each year. It makes those days feel a little more special for us.

  • We only go to church on Christmas day if Christmas is on a Sunday. We go to church every week, on Sundays.

  • We used to go to church religiously (excuse the pun) but stopped shortly after the children were born since the expectations were that you dumped them in creche and then Sunday school when old enough. Sort of went against the whole “family”thing we were trying to do in every other area of life, and which many other areas of secular life supported far better. Sincerely believe one-sized fits all age-segregated “children’s ministry” is the death of the church. Sometimes drop by for Christmas since that is when they allow the kids in in many churches and have them act out the Christmas story or something.

  • We really attend church for weddings, funerals and christenings and sometimes when it is the anniversary of someone important’s death.

  • Every year we all make an effort to attend midnight mass. I missed out last year and it was so meant to be this year as they asked me to do mass reading on an urgent moment and lucky I was going to go anyway . It was Christmas by the time we got home and everyone reslept till morning sun came .

  • No. The only time I go to church is for other people’s weddings and funerals.

  • We go every Sunday for morning and evening service and Thursday for prayer night, so we definitely go Christmas Day.

  • It is important to know the origins of all religions.

  • no i don’t go to church but oh well. i have been for christmas once as a child

  • We always go at Christmas and Easter, and try to go along at least once at some other time through the year. It’s important to understand the origins of these events.

  • Nope, we don’t. I’ve only ever been in a church once and that was by accident
