Hello!

I know it’s a silly comercialised day but really what’s wrong with celebrating love? Sharing some time with a loved one or buying a small trinket or some flowers. Feel like everyone hates it?

  • I dont hate it at all. I think its a wonderful day just to remind people at appreciate their loved one. You never know whats around the corner and it never hurts to acknowledge the love you have for someone

  • We always just buy a card and may do a small gift to express our appreciation towards each other. Just do where you’re comfartable with.

  • No we don’t really celebrate it, our wedding anniversary is the week before so we celebrate that instead

  • My husband & I wish each other Happy Valentines Day & sometimes use it as an excuse to go out for dinner but we don’t do cards or gifts every year. My birthday is the week before & our wedding anniversary is 2 weeks late so we celebrate then instead.

  • I never used to. Then we got married on Valentine’s Day. So now it’s our anniversary. It makes our anniversary feel extra special coz there are love hearts everywhere you look. Oh and hubby can’t forget.

  • I used to force valentines day with my partner until we had children. Now we are just living day to day as parents haha.

  • We try to celebrate it more now since I’ve had daughters dad buys or picks them a flower aswell as me and that’s about all we do but all my friends get pretty spoilt

  • Me and my hubby don’t but part of me secretly wishes we did. A long time ago..10 years we decided it was commercialised and we would just celebrate our personal anniversaries. However, two kids later we rarely get to do that and I find myself jealous when i see other people getting spoilt on Valentines Day.

  • Our Wedding anniversary is close to Valentines Day so we don’t worry about Valentines and celebrate our Wedding instead.

  • Hubby & I have been married for 13 years & we have always celebrated Valentines Day. Pre kids we would go out to dinner but now with 4 kids we always buy each other a card & hubby always buys be a bunch of flowers. Just some small things to show our love for each other.

  • Nope wedding even acknowledge it this year. It is a silly day actually. We did when we met 17 years ago but haven’t since we were married in 2006.

  • We celebrate it. It’s more of an excuse to go out and do something together which we don’t really get time to do every other day.
It’s also always nice to give gifts, especially when you see the other person’s happy face.

  • We always celebrated Valentine’s Day and that only stopped when my wonderful loving husband passed away. You don’t have to buy something just do something extra special that you don’t always have time for. We always told each other how much we loved them every day but just did a little something extra on that day

  • We have for years had a “Love Day” night dinner as started by my daughter when she was about 4. We dress up, the kids (with help) make dinner for my husband and I, set the table nicely and serve us as waiters. It’s super cute and easy but nice

  • I think we all need a little more love in the world today so anything that celebrates love, is a good thing.
