Whose traditional? My mother was the daughter of English and Irish immigrants, and on the other side l am eighth generation Australian. Food is a great bonus of a multi cultural society!
I love experimenting and eating dishes from cultures all over the world. Seeing as though we can’t travel with COVID at the moment I have to let my palette travel through cooking food
Ilove to experiment! this week we did spaghetti bol. but i also did butter chicken from scratch for the first time. So its all about what we feel like.
Depends on who’s tradition you are talking about ???? We eat a variety of cuisines and I love eating traditional dishes from all over the world. I wouldn’t enjoy sticking to one style of food. There is so much variety to choose from and in Australia we are so lucky to have culinary influences from all over the world.
I grew up with a lot if traditional English food, which is delicious, but can be heavy and stodgey. Now I have a go ate anything, any cuisine from any country, I’m happy to try it
I was brought up on white rice daily ( even breakfast ) and now I am an adult I am able to choose my own foods . I’ve tried pasta, potatoes, cous cous, polenta in the past and it is good experimenting how to cook certain foods . Polenta and Cous Cous is always a challenge as it can lead to mushiness and ruining your dinner if not cooked properly . I think tryng bit of everything using basic recipes would be good as a starter .
