I like to read the paper sometimes, but not every day. Do you read the paper everyday and get it home delivered? Who in your family reads the paper?

  • We used to love getting the paper delivered, but found we didn’t have time to read it everyday and they were being left around unread. We then changed to just delivery of the weekend papers. We enjoyed that and weren’t wasting our money. However, when we moved, we didn’t get it delivered. Can’t say I miss it too much. I catch up on the news online .

  • I used to but but found if I was too busy on that particular day it would go unread so it ended up being a waste sometimes.

  • We also give our papers away to people with bunnies! Good to repurpose those papers.

  • We get the paper delivered on weekends and I still find myself reading it online so it’s a bit of a waste. But when I do get a chance to pull out the paper and make a cup of tea I love having the physical paper in my hands; it feels more relaxing!

  • I like to walk to the shop to buy the paper. Good way of getting exercise.

  • We use to get the paper daily and now there is no need as all the information is a click away!

  • If i thought about it i might get the weekend ones delivered and possibly the local one on a thursday due to kids competitions in it. But other than that i would not. But i see them lying on the road when the delivery person driving past hasnt thrown it hard enough to the neighbours house so i would be worried about not getting them when i have paid for them.

  • We get the Saturday newspaper home delivered. My husband and I always read it. My daughter loves the comics and puzzles section. :-)

  • A long time ago we had the Sun herald delivered as hub was too lazy to go down to the local newsagent . It turned out because the shop actually charges you more ( practically double ) for the service which we always thought was a free . Well after that he decided to walk and gained some exercise as well . Apparently if you get a subscription it works out cheaper too . Best thing to do I think is get it yourself at the newsagent and save .

  • We get the Sunday paper delivered. Hubby generally reads it first then I do.
