Hello!

Looking for words of wisdom!! I’m a mother of 4, I’m due to have my bubby in 4 weeks, however this means my youngest will be 11 months old when he is born. What helped you through the minimal age gap in the first year ? Any do’s or not do’s ? Thankyou in advance ! Do you have any words of wisdom?

  • I didn’t have my babies anywhere near that close together but my advise would be accept any offer of help you can and if you need help ask for it. Good luck :)

  • No words of wisdom, I’ve never been known as wise :) All I can say is “Wow!” You will be busy. I also haven’t had 5 babies, but have a lot of admiration for those that do. Good luck

  • Be patient and kind too yourself. You will have your hands full, don’t be too hard on yourself when you don’t get it all done in a day. As long as you and your children are ok, it will all be ok.

  • I have no advice as i have never been in this situation but wow you are a strong woman to do so good luck thinking of you

  • i had gotten pregnant again when i had a 9mth old. i bought her a baby doll and we loved that doll in prep for the new baby. my daughter was pretty good around her brother and wasn’t too concerned. Now though, they are partners in crime and sooo adorable

  • Go with the flow, that’s always been my motto and don’t sweat the small stuff.

  • Good luck!!

  • Be wise!

  • I can’t offer advice, however I read other mums wise comments. They sound like good advice.

  • Make sure the older children keep the 11 month old company get them to all play together.

  • is this number 5 ?

  • No words of wisdom from experience (ten year age gap here!) but maybe just don’t sweat the small stuff and make sure you get out of the house at least once a day!

  • Wow, you will certainly have your hands full, that’s for sure.

  • Some good advice given below – hope some of it helps.

  • You will get through, don’t ever be afraid to ask for help though when it does get overwhelming.
