  • I moved regional, and love the fact there’s basically no traffic ever. It is great. A 30 minute drive used to take 1.5-2 hours at peak time. What a waste of the day in just getting to and from work. Even to just pop to the supermarket would take me 15-30 minutes at peak times. I didn’t even live near the cbd.

  • My husband grew up in the country. Although he thinks country life is beautiful, he loves the city and so do I. With 2 kids with special needs it would be hard to find specialists, therapists, support workers and therapy assistants close enough nearby

  • I’m a city girl through and through. Love the convenience of shops.

  • City living is my preference as that is how I grew up. Luckily once a year we’d holiday at my uncle farm. I loved the fresh air and the tranquillity.

  • I grew up in the country and did love it growing up and I love going back on holidays however I much prefer the city. No going back for me.

  • I have done both, country when my children were small so they could grow up in a caring community. Then the city where there was more opportunity for their growth and development. I must say I do prefer city life because it is closer to all much needed amenities and universities etc.

  • I love the country. The fresh air, open spaces, lots of room to move, neighbours aren’t on top of you. Only downer is if we need a specialist or dentist, we have to travel over an hour.

  • I would love both – some city and some country living.

  • No contest. Country wins for me every time. We currently live in suburbia because the drought has forced us to keep working in the city to make ends meet but we had hoped to be living on our farm full time by now. Most country towns have everything you need but without the stress. I cant wait till we can finally make the tree change permanent.

  • At this stage of my life, city living suits my lifestyle just fine!
