  • We try not to but occasionally we do. My kids look at me like I’m sooo naughty lol. Once they are at the age that they know right from wrong I think they learn where and when they can use it. I’d be more concerned about using some of the more offensive words in front of a toddler because you can guarantee they will repeat them at the worst times lol…

  • Yes I do sometimes swear in front of them but they know thats its alright in the house only but outside its a big NO NO

  • No I don’t swear in front of them at all. Most people who visit our home try not to swear also. I haven’t really had any need to unless I stub my toe then I bite my lip.

  • My kids all know that they are grown up words and they are allowed to say them. They can when they’re older haha. I don’t swear normally, but do slip up. I think shielding them completely doesn’t help. They will hear it from friends and perhaps not know that it’s not okay. My mother blew right up at me when I was a child and asked her what the f word meant (I’d heard it somewhere and had no idea what it was) and said “Don’t you ever say that word again!!” and I never did… LOL.

  • i try not to but sometimes it slips out – I make sure my kids know its a bad word and that they aren’t supposed to say it

  • I try not to.

  • I do. Alot more accidentally now tho as my 3yr old is starting to copy things he sees on tv and i dont want him saying the f word that mum said when the dog chewed the couch up!!

  • Yep although i never used too. My girls dont swear at all.

  • I try not to swear in front of any kids, but it still does slip out. I also avoid swearing in front of the elderly

  • Children copy what they hear. So I do try not to swear in front of them.
