  • Yes they are as they help the workers if they have a accident or if you want better conditions at work they will fight for the workers rights.

  • No & No

  • My partner is currently having issues with his employers and the union have been fabulous. Currently, they are trying to get fair pay rises for their members. It’s startling to see how many untruths the government is telling to avoid this :/

  • I’m not in a union but I do believe they can help workers get better working conditions.

  • When I needed help they weren’t there for me & I haven’t been in a union for over 20yrs now

  • Yes l do believe unions are very relevant and much needed.

  • The unions I came across seemed to be all about themselves and forcing people to think they are still needed. In my field they caused more trouble than good. My kids school had union call no outside of hours right on end of year concert. The school missed out on all the fundraising it does at the event and the kids parents work during the day so only a few of us got to see it. A lot of very disappointed kids that year and the teachers were disappointed too.

  • Depends on the union and the workplace – some seem stronger than others.

  • I’m only casual so hadn’t thought about unions. My nursing friend jokes that’s the only way she gets pay raises in her job… So I think yes can be but some professions it’s more impacting than others
