  • Yes unfortunately. About 2 days before, and at the end. Kind of undoes all the hard work of eating well and exercising.

  • Can’t say Ive noticed a change in appetitevaround period time. I’m always hungry and always pigging out, hence I have a weight problem

  • Yes i can relate. However, I would maybe see about having blood test to see if your levels are all okay, especially iron. I used to crave alot of chocolate and use heaps of salt on my dishes, turns out I had low iron. Since ive started on iron tablets im okay.

  • Yes and I hate it.
Once I get it though, it’s like my appetite just goes back to normal.

  • I tend to eat more during my period

  • Absolutely and it can be both sweet and savoury – no snack is safe for up to a week before

  • yeppp all the time.. eat eat and eat!

  • YES!!! I try to be good, but all I want is cake, lollies and jatz!!

  • Yes! One thing i have also found is a week leading up to my period, i will nest! Not sjre if its because ive had 4 children, but i will clean like a mad woman and not run out of energy until my period passes, and to be honest its exhausting! But at least i get a clean house once a mo th too ????????

  • Yes! I think it’s the body’s way of fuelling up before it flushes our system in the usual menstrual way…

  • Yep, I crave carbs and sweets. It wasn’t as bad last month as I’ve started exercising more and it seemed to help balance things out better. I’m not currently on contraceptives, but they never made a difference to cravings for me.

  • Yes me too. That’s hormones going crazy.

  • Yes me! ????????‍♀️????????‍♀️

  • Yes I get so hungry. My hormones are all over the place just before you would think I was pregnant

  • I naturally have a sweet tooth but it becomes uncontrollable a day or 2 before I get my period, not on the first day but then the remainder of my period too – I will admit that when I’m not on any contraceptives that this diminishes. I’ve also found that having liquorice tea does help with cravings along with a b12 supplement which reduces cramps too.
