  • I bought my 25 year old son one for Christmas as he was forever buying coffee on the go.
I bought the Nepresso One I got a good discount and it came with 60 different flavoured Nepresso pods. He loves it .
He also bought a travel mug to put the coffee in for his drive to work.
It also does hot chocolate, lattes ,cappuccino.
Easy to clean and is really quick and easy to use with a push of the button ..

  • Absolutely. I don’t actually drink coffee but my husband does. He likes the taste and it’s much cheaper over time

  • My friend has one and makes me a coffee when I visit. Personally I don’t think the coffee tastes that great, but I don’t tell my friend that!

  • Definitely! At home we love our coffee and the Nespresso machine makes a nice coffee, is almost like you are buying from a coffee shop, sometimes better than coffee shops. Also there are lots of different flavour/aroma to choose from. Easy to clean too.

  • My friend has one and the coffees are lovely! A bit too expensive for me but as I understand, my friend saves quite a lot of money a year not buying store bought coffee.

  • i have a caffitaly one from woolies and you buy select capsules and the gloria jeans capsules also fit in the machine. Gloria jeans is a great coffee.

  • Thanks MoM 90758 for the feedback on the pods and thanks for always answering questions! :)

  • For Lavazza around 11 dollars for 16 capsules. I’m not sure about Nespresso. A little cheaper I guess.

  • The machine sounds good. Are the pods expensive?

  • I just bought a Lavazza a Modo Mio Caffe’ Latte for my husband for Christmas. I hope I didn’t make a mistake. I liked the Nespresso too but it was more expensive.
The good thing of Nespresso is that you’ve got a huge variety of coffee capsules that function with it.
With Lavazza you are more restricted.

  • I am onto my second and love it! I first purchased the U and aeroccino. I had that for 3 years and loved it. It’s still going strong but I really wanted the latissima, the one that does the milk and coffee all in one. So I’ve just upgraded to that one in the last month. And really love it! My 6 year old makes me coffee daily (1 button to press!). She asked if she could make me a coffee after work tonight!
There are so many pod options. When you buy a machine you get a starter pack of pods which has one of lots of different types. If you are near an nespresso store you can go and taste the to see what you like prior to purchasing!

  • My sister does, and she uses it every day. Its great. We like the stronger coffees. She purchases the strong coffee (might be called dark?) “Welcome Pack” when she needs more pods. Only thing I would say is it might be worth purchasing a better milk frother, if you are making a lot of coffees at once. Enjoy!
