  • When a baby is teething they produce extra saliva, so this is when you see those almighty liquid poos that go all the way up their back, the extra saliva can irritate their stomach so vomiting can be a side effect. Also make sure you are using a good barrier cream on their bottom as the extra saliva can make their poo more acidic and irritate the bottom and make it red.

  • NOt as far as I know. Didn’t happen with any of mine, or with the babies of any of my friends.

  • In the last month my 17 month old grandson (who lives with me) has grown at least 10 teeth….his back molars are up before his front bottom teeth and he has been sick with flu type symptoms and vomiting most nights when he has a bottle.

  • Sometimes, babies get a temperature when teething which could cause vomiting. It would be a high temp tho, which isn’t good for them. If you’re worried, see a Dr or chemist or even call a friend/family member

  • The only form of vomiting I have come across with teething would be when bubba has so much saliva in the mouth and this causes them to dribble a lot or choke and spit it out. Hopefully it’s nothing to serious!

  • yes. When my daughter was teething she used to get a full on fever and starting vomiting. I found especially in the warmer months, that if you wet a clean face cloth and wring out as best you can and then place in the freezer flat just for 5-10min. It will feel frozen but soften quite quickly and they love to chew on it! This helps heaps!

  • Some babies also get a sore throat or worse still tonsillitis. Acute tonsillitis can affect the glands in your stomach resulting in dry retching or vomitting. Been there!!!
