I have been desperate to lose weight after having 2 kids, and I’m hearing a lot of success stories with the Garcinia Cambogia weight loss program. Has anyone tried it? Does it really work? Does the garcinia cambogia diet work?

  • Dieting won’t work – healthy eating & regular exercise – I lost 13kg’s in 12 weeks. It all comes down to energy going into your body v’s energy that you are using each day.

  • I tried Plexus Slim. I’ve dropped from a size 16 to a size 12. It’s got Garcenia Cambogia in it as one of the active ingredients. My husband and his mates are taking it now as well. I was so happy with it I’ve signed up as an ambassador.

  • I’ve not done it.
    I am a huge advocate of a real food “diet”. It may be different and tough to start out with but I’ve cut out 98% of processed foods and am now grain free, dairy free and refined sugar free. Best thing ever for your health and lost weight obviously as a pleasant side affect :-)

  • Skip ‘dieting’ and make small adjustments in your diet that are sustainable. High protein and low saturated fats are good. Skip low fat / low sugar options and either reduce portion sizes or switch to a product that is naturally lower in fat. And drink lots of water. Some people find using a smaller plate helps reduce portion size. I serve myself the same size meal as my 5 yr old, in fact often he eats more!

  • Try this I’ve been using it a month lost 7 kg, and 10 cm off my waist so far :) I have two kids and have been bedridden for 9 months!!

  • I’ve just signed up for Cyndi O’Meara’s HCG protocol. I have been eating clean and exercising regularly for over 3 months with hardly any weight loss (I retained 10kg after baby 1 and I’m another 8kg above that from baby 2 – who is now 2.5!). Her program resets the hormones that are out of whack and prevent weight loss. You can check it out at Changing Habits.

  • My mother in law tried it. It did nothing for her.

  • I’ve heard of it, but not personally used it. I believe it’s just another of the diet fads around, like the plexus slim stuff. I’ve lost 20kgd by healthy eating, smaller portions and exercise. My 2kids love getting fresh air!

  • I lost heaps on bodytrim with the first one, still waiting for time and motivation to hit so i can get rid of weight after second bubs

  • I’ve not used it, but I have 4 kids 4.5yrs and under…and I’ve always lost it again buy 40mins cardio a day and really clean eating & water . :) good luck, and don’t forget to give your body a chance to recover from childbirth! I always wait til my abdominal muscles realign :)

  • Never heard of it, but unless it is a diet you can live on I doubt it will work. I’ve had great success with the South Beach Diet, and it is a way of eating supported by doctor research, and adaptable to life.

  • I’d like to know too! Obviously exercise,eating less and healthier foods is the best way. But a kick start can help!

  • Hi darl. I tested it and it didn’t work for me after using it for 2 months. The only thing that worked for me was 30-45mins of exercise 4 times a week, good higher protein diet and lots of water.

  • Never heard of this diet however, I am not for all these crazy diets, they frighten me actually. Regular exercise & eating good nutritious foods works for me. I did however, try the lemon detox many years ago, it was awful & did nothing. Good luck if you choose to go down this path, I hope it works for you :)
