  • It can be normal for some, but the more unhealthy you are the more you will suffer, so the trick is to get yourself healthy as possible, and your hormones will be more stable, cut back on meat, dairy and gluten, eat more fruit and veggies, and get rid of the junk. Eating life giving food will give you energy.

  • I get so very tired and lathargic leading up to my period. Mine get worse if my iron is low.

  • Yes I get lethargic and have a migraine for about 3 days before. Maybe check with your GP as there maybe be an underlying issue such as thyroid etc.

  • I can’t recall I was feeling overly tired leading up to my period, but often didn’t feel happy in my skin (tummy aches, emotional)

  • I agree that you are probably eating too much sugary food or others + drinks that are high in carbohydates. If you have a look on google there are good and bad carbohydrates. Good ones keep you feeling full for longer and you don’t eat too much. Bad ones give you a quick burst of energy then you feel tired for awhile, not just a few minutes. A lot well known dieticians use similar lists. I have been guilty of the same habit.

  • I do! I also get super moody then when my period comes I’m like, “Oh.. that’s why I’ve been like that :/ ha ha laugh with me husband.”

  • i get moody and somewhat tired not too much though.

  • Cravings for sugar was my constant. But not a special tiredness.

  • The week leading up to mine I AM EXHAUSTED!!! And I want to eat all the sugary foods in the land! If I remember I take a double dose of Magnesium that week and it helps a lot!
