  • So glad you found some books to help you out! I would have suggested googling myself. There’s some great resources out there for allergy sufferers these days

  • Oh Im truly glad that you googled and got some help as this was hard with three items your son is unable to have so seen as I was going to suggest google now I can wish you luck and have fun with your new cookbooks and recipes

  • I’ll ask my sister-in-law what recipes she has as her little has many allergies and she has to be very careful.

  • Thankyou for your responses guys I have done some googling today and ordered 3 new cook books which gives some great yummy ideas. I have some from the immunologist and the dietician just needing something new as we are getting a little bored of the same foods.

  • I used to run a cafe and do a lot of catering, whenever we had to make an event cake for a client or guest with an egg allergy we just amended the recipe by substituting stewed apples for the original called for eggs. Its just a small tip but made things pretty easy, as for the nuts and honey just use sugar and fruit!

  • Most of the ones under Real Recipes are free of egg, nuts and honey: https://mouthsofmums.com.au/recipe-category/baby-toddler-recipe/ Not sure what sort of recipes you are after (sweet or savory). Nuts can usually just be omitted and if you look at vegan foods they won’t have eggs. Hope that helps.

  • great information Betty, I would suggest the same

  • Hi there Jodie… where do you live? There are some glutin free clinics going in all states, so may I suggest that if you have a computer, you google, and see what you can come up with, then write per email to them for some recipes. Nowdays most groups can help share, and I know when looking for glutin free this is how I did it… I realise that you are not perhaps needing this type of recipe, but the ideas are there for you to look at. What about putting in something to google that says …. egg free recipes and see what it brings up. Do you have a nursing sist er a t a health shop, or one at a baby clinic yo u could go to., and what about a dietician with a childrens hospital, they all seem to be pretty good and finding out ideas for people. dieaticions gave me my diabetic ideas…
