Hello!

I’m looking for ideas of what to eat, take or drink during my recovery after surgery to help with my healing process. For example shakes with alot of goodness in, foods, vitamins etc. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Slippery elm powder is good as it combats inflammation which your body will be experiencing post surgery. All the best.


  • good oily fats will help like avocados, nuts and salmon. Berries and all round natural foods will help.

  • Stick with lots of fresh foods that aren’t processed stuff. Also I think eating fish is meant to be good for period recovering from surgery, so maybe just plain steamed fish?


  • I hope you found the perfect answers. I have been juicing lately, Mixing it up everyday but i love watermelon kale, carrot,beetroot,apple,celery and chia seeds. Packed full of goodness and tastes great. Make sure you read up on cold compressed coconut oil it does wonders as well.
