Hello!

I was just wondering what everyone is getting their husband for Valentine’s Day. Looking for some great suggestions.

  • Just a simple little thing. This year I gave my husband chocolates in a heart shaped box and a card. And I got a card and flowers from him

  • Sorry, I’m no help. I don’t do valentines day. I would much rather randomly spoiling someone just because, than following this holiday. Have a think about what he enjoys doing and see if you can make a booking for it. Example of going gold class to the movies, out for a day trip or weekender, tickets to an expo. You could leave little “thinking of you notes” where he will come across during the day. Perhaps cooking his favourite dish, or making his fave dessert. Things don’t have to be massive, or expensive. Most people just want to feel like they’re loved and appreciated.

  • We don’t do valentines day. Our excuse is you should find excuses to spoil each other throughout the year, not just one day

  • We keep it very simple. I gave him last year a card and a lolly in the shape of a rose. Sometimes I give him just a bottle of wine too

  • Nothing, we don’t do Valentine’s Day. Just another way to scam money out of people

  • We don’t really celebrate Valentines Day but occasionally we will get each other chocolates or some other food that each of us like.

  • We always do a card and follow up with a lovely meal and champagne!

  • Really interesting reading the comments on this!

  • Nothing. We don’t do Valentines, suits me, I don’t need a day set aside to let my loved ones know they’re loved. He bought me a chocolate rose one year, cos he was in the shop at the same time as my sister and she said “You should buy your Mrs one of these.” So he did. The next year I bought him a Horny Devil teddy bear in return. 27 years and that’s it for Valentines

  • Hubby and myself don’t do Valentines Day. We see it as just another money grabbing event for big companies.

  • Me I am all the present he should need. Valentine’s day is so overrated. We do eat together without the kids. Maybe just make him something different or have dinner and a dessert

  • I prepared a nice dinner and gave him a bottle of Guinness, his favorite! :-)

  • A nice night out :)

  • I didn’t get anything as I don’t have a Valentine

  • We actually don’t do valentines day presents. He loves food so usually I cook him his favourite meal.
