Hello!

What do you buy someone who has every knick knack under the sun?
Taking out for a meal/tea/experience is not an option.

  • All she properly wants is for some family time with her children, grandkids, great grandkids
No present can replace this family time

  • Flowers or something else that might make her feel special – photos together.

  • Sorry I missed this! But I think if you had the time, a nice scrapbook of memories would be good for her to look back on all of the years she’s been around.

  • My grandmother used to love flowers and a card.

  • Bring a home made slice or cake that’s beautifully decorated

  • You could take some home made sweets. If she likes doing puzzles you could get one of the newer ones out now. A magazine subscription could also be a good option depending on her interests.

  • I always find an updated family photo is always a winner.

  • Visit and take some cakes and just spend some time with her or maybe a photo book of all her family.

  • Perhaps take a nice birthday cake, as not sure where she lives but saying not option on that you can’t take out I would say might be in a nursing home, so the birthday cake would be good to take. Just visiting them would be well enjoyed by her with a nice card. Now with the Covert 19 you might not be able to see her.

  • If you can’t take her out, bring the meal to get. If it’s a special occasion relive an old favourite time. Personally we do calendars of the great grandkids for Christmas every year and it’s well received.

  • Personal photo gifts like a blanket

  • Her favourite perfume.

  • handmade gifts are always loved, if you have a little one, drawings are great, or photos of yourself and family are wonderful

  • A professional family portrait or a family photo album.

  • Just bought my grandmother a great pair of non slip emu slippers or she raves about the heated throw rug we got her a few years ago
