Hello!

So my husband shares his birthday with his first born daughter and our daughter together, which also happens to be New Years Day as well. As this year is special because it’s his 40th, he was wanting to have a huge party or go away on a family holiday. Due to purchasing and renovating a house we now have to postpone the big celebrations. I would appreciate some good gift ideas that will make him feel special even though he isn’t doing his massive celebration.

  • When it has to be cheap going out camping with your family can be lovely too.

  • I made my Husband Labels for wine Bottles I purchased the wine and stuck the photo labels onto the bottles. Take photos from his Past baby photo’s and mile stones school, high school, Career Photo, Wedding Photo and finish with a Family Photo.

  • Maybe an air bnb for the whole family next to a beach somewhere or if in Wollongong a day at jambaroo..

  • Maybe some experience or outing?

  • Red balloon experience maybe?

  • I’m not sure what state you live in, but if your hubby had hoped for a family vacation how about a local staycation instead!? It can still be super fun, quality family time and not everywhere is super expensive especially if you book on a Sunday or weekday. Also is hubby is a bit of a foodie, a grazing box savoury or sweet could be super fun and special.

  • Photo books are always nice.
I gave one to my hubby for his first father’s day with our little girl and he loved it so much he cried!

  • Urban Extreme can be nice too, there is something for everyone and at all age and skill levels. Choose from indoor ski + snowboard sessions, ninja + parkour, trampoline and laser tag – game on.

  • What about a mini cruise whale watching, a helicopter ride, bungee jumping or something like that ?
