I think the stainless steel ones are the best as it acts like a thermal. However it is not the bottle itself. Due to the need to make the nozzle of plastic material, I think that part will always be worn , so really nothing will last at school. Also she may lose it , just like lunchboxes , so either she drinks from the bubblers or just stick to the cheapo brands considering it wont last anyway .

I bought one from woolies with a twist lid and it was $3

Cant go past tupperware but ive heard they are making it difficult to get replacements now and they have got more rules round their lifetime warranty… :/

Smash water bottles last the longest in our house although they usually get lost

Smash, Tupperware and Ishka sell good bottles. Smash and Tupperware bottles are particularly good for sports. Ishka has pretty and good bottles.

I’ve been using Smash bottles for the last couple of years and they’re great. They come in 500ml, 750ml,1000ml and have a removable flip top which cleans easily in the dishwasher. They come in a range of colours and also have an ice stick that you can freeze to keep drinks cold for longer. I’ve removed the sticks from my bottles and just fill them with ice cubes and then top up with water and they stay cold for hours. You can buy them in Coles, Woolies, BigW and Officeworks. The 750ml is around $10 but I wait for catalogue specials and can usually pick them up for around $7.

I love my tupperware drink bottles they don’t have a pop top just a flip lid with an opening dishwasher safe and you can get them in small and large

target have some aluminium bottles with spouts (hard plastic). My 6 1/2 year old and twin 23 months olds all have them and they seem great. The Tupperware with open sipper are good but the little ones are not so good with them as yet.

There are some sippy cup type ones at big w that are really good
They have a hard spout and they don’t leak. They change colour with cold water too
They come in princess and Minnie Mouse etc

Your local supermarket (Coles and Woolworths) have these bottles look in the picnic wear aisle near paper plates etc. BPA free water bottles are the norm for school drink bottle many designs available and affordable so when they get grotty just replace.
