  • Apple Cider vinegar in hot water, I’m not sure how much of it actually works and how much it is mental but i often have my cup and sip away at it and it feels quite a bit better!


  • I wish I had read some of these suggestions when I was suffering from period pain. The only thing that worked for me was Codral Pain Relief which I haven’t been able to find on the shelves lately


  • there is an oil blend one of the companies does for menstrual pain relief and I’ve found it works really well. I can’t remember the oils used in the blend but you could probably google it.


  • I have a blend from saywer bear blends on Instagram that I roll on my tummy to reduce symptoms. Works great


  • Try to have boil eggs and dates. You can also have pinch of turmeric in warm milk and take it at bed time. It really helps.
    this remedy is from indian friend and its been followed at her house from ages.


  • I have recently been reading a herb book and there are many herbs you can take as a tea, just look it up on the internet. Also a good healthy diet will reduce suffering. Try celery juice each morning on an empty stomach, does wonders for your health.


  • I’ve found a B16 vitamin works…it’s natural and reduces the cramping if you start the day before you’re expecting your period. I also have found a tea see the pic that really helps, they have one for women’s health


  • I always found a hot water bottle and I used to take tables called Aspalgin… not sure if they are still available but they did give some relief. Maybe a Dr’s visit too if the pain is too strong and some investigations may be needed?


  • Heat seems to work the best for me when it comes to pain relief.


  • I’ve always just turned to paracetamol – not natural but it works for me.


  • Boiled eggs are very good actually


  • Sometimes I use Chinese oil that we can usually find in Asian groceries. There are many kinds that we can choose from. It gives warmth to the area of the pain.

  • Mersyndol was the only thing that gave me relief. I often only need 2 – one about 4 hours apart.
    They made me thirsty though. By about 7.00pm I start to feel really tried. Not ideal when you have school homework to do. I get reflux so I have trouble digesting milk. About 3 months after being prescribed Calcium & Vitamin D tablets I realised the constant cramp followed by constant pain for another day or so was very much reduced. My Dr. was very surprised. Maybe I just got lucky.
